Zayn Malik steps out with Gigi Hadid as his plans for ‘explosive’ autobiography are revealed
The ex One Direction star is believed to be penning his first book
FRESH from penning a number one solo album Zayn Malik is scribbling an "EXPLOSIVE" autobiography to lift the lid on his experiences in One Direction.
The Bradford lad quit the boyband, formed on Simon Cowell's X Factor, last March and has since topped the charts with debut single Pillowtalk as well as bagging Victoria's Secret Angel Gigi Hadid as his girlfriend.
The cute couple looked blissfully in love as they clutched each other's hands while leaving LAX Airport as plans for Zayn's debut read were revealed.
Talking of his reported life story, a source said: "This book is going to be explosive and Simon will be furious with Zayn and may even try to stop it coming out. But Zayn is determined to reveal the secrets behind the clean image that was always so fiercely protected by the band’s publicity machine."
The insider the text would delve into "every intimate detail" about his five years in the hit group with fellow bandmembers Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Harry Styles.
The lads were swiftly signed up by X Factor head honcho Simon after failing to win the talent show in 2010 - yet his revelations are said to be potentially worried for the record label boss.
Outspoken Zayn unsteadied the One Direction ship after he left on bad terms, slamming their style.
He told Fader magazine: "As much as I was in that band, and I loved everything that we did, that's not music that I would listen to.
"I want to make music that I think is cool s**t."
He added the group would be asked to re-record tracks "until there was a straight version that was pop, generic as f**k, so they could use that version."
As well as shining the spotlight on his singing career, his autobiography will also hone in on his relationship with Gigi, 21.
The pair hooked up after Zayn split with ex fiancee and Little Mix star Perrie Edwards.
They have been an item since the start of the year though are said to have briefly split this summer.
Yet last month, Zayn revealed he had quit the UK to relocate to the States so he could be nearer to Gigi.
The celeb powercouple looked to be back to their loved-up selves as they took a trip away.
Arriving at the US airport, Zayn didn't let pretty Gigi out of his sights.
The catwalk queen looked stunning in casual skinny jeans and a sheer white blouse as she kept close to her man.
The pair linked fingers as they strode through the arrivals lounge with the model always staying just a few steps behind.
They stopped for a cheery chat where Zayn could be seen sporting a huge grin before making their way around the transport hub.
