Benedict Cumberbatch who? Will Ferrell to star as Sherlock Holmes in new comedy film
The US star will be joined by John C Reilly who will star as Doctor Watson

WILL Ferrell is to take on the iconic role of Sherlock Holmes for a brand new comedy film.
The actor will star as the fictional super sleuth alongside John C Reilly, who will take on the role of Doctor Watson.
The duo, who starred alongside each in 2006's Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and again in 2008 for Step Brothers, will reunite for the big screen comedy.
According to Deadline.com, the stars have been looking for a new project to work on together and Ferrell was initially attached to this project with Sacha Baron Cohen and Sony Pictures, but the proposed production fell apart.
But the film has now been given the green light by Sony and Etan Cohen, who directed Ferrell and Kevin Hart in Get Hard - will be directing.
This is just the latest incarnation that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Baker Street-based private detective has been given in recent years.
