THERE may have been high emotions and the return of everyone’s favourite judging line-up on The X Factor tonight, but the act that everyone is talking about is rapper Honey G.

And while many people found the 35-year-old “urban street artist” hilarious, others are slamming Honey G – real name Anna Georgette Gilford as a “fake”, so the North West Londoner appeared on The Xtra Factor to defend herself against the haters.

When Rylan Clark Neal asked Honey G how she felt about people saying she wasn’t real and was putting on an act, her response was simple.

“There’s a lot of haters out there and haters are gonna hate and my motto is don’t play hate, congratulate,” she said.

Then in tribute to another artist who knows what it’s like to have a hater or two, Honey performed her own very unique rendition of Justin Bieber’s Sorry, which at least gave Rylan and Matt Edmondson a chance to throw some serious shapes.

Honey managed to get three yeses tonight from the judges, with only Simon refusing to give her his seal of approval.
