Ex on the Beach’s Loren Green battled DEPRESSION and anxiety after drama on the show
The reality TV babe revealed the darker side of the MTV programme

THE sun-soaked Ex on the Beach experience had a seriously darker side for Loren Green, who has exclusively revealed her time on the drama-heavy sex-filled show caused her to seek treatment for DEPRESSION.
The brunette, who shared her MTV antics with the likes of Geordie Shore stars Gaz Beadle and Charlotte Crosby, needed to see a doctor and take a course of tablets after her return to the UK.
Her inner turmoil, which she has kept silent until now, saw her exclusively reveal to us her the programme's eyebrow-raising antics "messed with her head."
And despite being asked to return for the current series, she told producers a resounding no.
Cosmetics queen Loren - known for fans for her cheeky one-liners and beaming smile during the second series - confessed she began feeling like she had lost her identity a fortnight in.
She exclusively told us: "For the first two weeks, which is like half the series, I was fine, I was normal.
"It was after I got in some drama with Kayleigh and Adam I thought 'I don't want to be there any more'.
"I'm not used to stuff like that and drama every day - I felt like I was around people who already knew what that industry was and I'm from a small town, Cannock, it's in the middle of nowhere and everyone knows everyone.
"To go from that to something so extreme it was just crazy.
"It messed with my head - it was weird.
"I did suffer badly - I was diagnosed with depression and I had my tablets.
"I just didn't feel comfortable in myself any more.
"I wasn't happy being myself - it was such a strange feeling."
Yet her emotions suffered a second time once the show was aired.
The Brummy lass filmed the scenes in September, yet when they aired the following January, she suffered again this time at the hands of cruel online Twitter trolls.
Loren told us: "When the show aired, it wasn't what I was expecting.
"I was receiving Tweets from random people going 'OMG shes a dog, why is she on there she's ugly.'
"They were literally picking apart everything about me.
"Then people would start to favourite it and I thought 'are you agreeing with them'.
"I also had messages from friends saying - where are you this episode, why aren't you in it?
"What they don't realise is it wasn't just me not getting involved in drama
"It was me going down and being really sad.
"If I decided to leave I would have had to go out with a drama situation.
"I just thought, I will sit here and be quiet and relax a bit."
