Professional dancer's split from actress was confirmed over the weekend almost a year after meeting on BBC dancing show

STRICTLY Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice has put a brave face following his split from Georgia May Foote at the Strictly Come Dancing launch.
The professional dancer was paired with the former Coronation Street actress for the 2015 series, with the couple confirming their relationship once the show was over.
But following their announcement over the weekend that they had decided to call time on their romance, the Italian fixed his best smile for the cameras as he made his way down the red carpet with his fellow professionals for the launch.
Posing with co-stars Aljaz Skorjanec and Pasha Kovalev, Giovanni masked any heartbreak he may have been feeling about the end of his relationship with the 25-year-old.
In a sweet statement released on her Twitter, Georgia said that the pair split amicably and wish each other well in the future.
