Strictly Come Dancing is in its fourteenth year, and the series comes to an end this weekend.

This year's line-up included a host of celebrities, including Team GB'S Claudia Fragapane, Birds of a Feather star Lesley Joseph  and TV presenter Laura Whitmore.

Len Goodman did announce that he felt Anton would make a good replacement after his departure.

Speaking to Holly and Phil on This Morning he insisted he has "no input" into who his successor will be, but hopes producers choose a judge with knowledge of the ballroom and Latin worlds in order to complement the skills of the other panelists, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.

He said: "I will have no input, it's all down to the producers but whoever they pick I'm sure will be the right choice.

Brendan has previously expressed his interest in taking on the role of judge on the Strictly panel next year.

Speaking for the first time about  Len’s job, Brendan says: “I don’t think it’s going to be open and shut. I think they’ll go through a process like the BBC do with all of their big decisions."
