Tom Hiddleston insists HE ‘dumped’ Taylor Swift and ‘not the other way round’
A source says it was the actor who ended things because of his "three month rule"
TOM Hiddleston insists that it was him who ended it with Taylor Swift, and not her.
A source close to the hunky actor has revealed that he “grew tired of her”.
We revealed yesterday how the couple had parted ways, with a source telling us: “It was fun while it lasted, but Taylor has now had enough.
“Tom’s a great guy but there’s no room for him in her life.”
But now, in true break-up style, the 35-year-old Thor star says it’s him who wanted out.
A theatre producer who collaborated with Tom on Coriolanus told : “The reports are wide of the mark and come as news to all Tom’s friends.
“He grew tired of Taylor, it wasn’t the other way round.”
They added: “Tom drifted from her and it had nothing to do with her being put off by the publicity.
“It’s more to do with the fact he’s a commitment-phobe who gets bored very easily.”
The source also said that the actor’s friends jokingly refer to the “three month rule,” the point at which he grows tired with girlfriends: “Even his sisters affectionately chide him on his lack of relationship staying power.
“They had a short break together in Rhode Island last month but it didn’t go that well because Tom was fixated with his fitness regime for Thor: Ragnorak, much to her displeasure.

“They agreed to end the relationship over the phone a few weeks later.”
The source finished by saying: “Tom’s got a lot to say privately about Taylor”.
The much publicised break-up came after a three-month fairytale romance, first revealed by The Sun.
Friends have said that the superstar singer has grown tired of Tom, revealing she just wanted to “shake him off”.
A source told us: “Tom freaked her out with his love of the limelight.
“But once things have all died down they are likely to remain friends.”
The source added that Taylor was not interested in being part of a “power couple”.
They said: “Being in a relationship which brings so much attention is not her thing.
“It’s all about her being an individual and a strong, independent woman.
“Taylor is so focused on her career it’s unreal.
“She is in control of her life, that’s a fact.
“She is the driving force in what she does and where she goes, and she certainly won’t let a boyfriend interfere with that.”
Previously Taylor has dated One Direction’s Harry Styles, Twilight actor Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal and musician John Mayer.
Her famous exes have provided material for a number of her hits, so adding a break-up track about emerging star Tom would certainly go down well with her fans.
