LAST year's X Factor reject Samantha Atkinson looks set to become "someone like" Adele - if her astounding audition is anything to judge by.

The young singer managed to get through the first and second rounds of the show but "mucked up" at boot camp.

Revealing the clip on This Morning, Rylan confirmed that she was rather "Adele-like" and added that she had a "great voice".

The video from the episode, airing tonight at 8pm, shows the singer blasting out Adele's hit When We Were Young".

Samantha wore a simple long black dress, revealing her tats, and had her hair cut from her previous long red locks into a stylish bob.

Nicole Scherzinger also seemed astounded by her voice as she watched the performance intently.
