FORMER Hollyoaks actor Danny Mac has admitted that he is 'bricking it' as the first round of Strictly Come Dancing looms this weekend.

The 28-year-old who played Dodger Savage in the Channel 4 soap has been paired with professional dancer Oti Mabuse.

Although all-smiles as he walked the train track-inspired red carpet at the world premiere for new Hollywood blockbuster The Girl On The Train, he confessed that it was a front.

Joining him for the star-studded event in London was Danny's actress fiancée, Carly Stenson.

Carly played Steph Cunningham in Hollyoaks, however both she and Danny appeared in the show at different times.

Carly's character was killed in a fire, Danny's was last seen leaving the Hollyoaks Village on a boat after going on the run when he took the blame for his daughter Nico Bradley pushing his brother Will off a roof.

Will later died in hospital however it was at the hands of serial murderer the Gloved Hand Killer rather than the fall which could pave the way for Dodger's return at a later date.

Strictly Come Dancing begins this Saturday on BBC One.
