GERI Horner is being secretly sounded out by Channel 4 to replace Mel and Sue as the new host of Bake Off.
The ex-Spice Girl, 44, is a huge fan of the show and appeared on the Sport Relief special in February.
Bosses at the show’s new home, plus creators Love Productions, believe Geri would be a hit with fans and already has great chemistry with Paul Hollywood, who confirmed yesterday he’s remaining on Bake Off after the switch.
A source said: “Geri is a bit of a curveball idea, but an intriging one all the same.
“She has always been a huge supporter of Bake Off but bosses face a tough ask to get her on board.
