BENEDICT Cumberbatch wowed the audience at the Royal Albert Hall as he stepped on stage to perform with Pink Floyd rocker David Gilmour.
Screams could be heard as the Sherlock actor sang a note perfect rendition of the band's classic Comfortably Numb.
Guitarist and singer David, 70, has been performing a run of five sold-out gigs at the prestigious venue.
Benedict, 40, joined the legend on stage for the encore and belted out a few verses of the song from Pink Floyd's 1979 album The Wall.
David asked the crowd: "Who knew he could sing?"
Originally sung by the band's Roger Waters, David has often used a guest vocalist on the track during his shows.
Me Before You author Jojo Moyes was among guests at the concert.
Conveying her excitement, she tweeted: "So right now Benedict Cumberbatch is singing Comfortably Numb with David Gilmour at the RAH."
