Is Leah married and does she have children?
On August 29, Leah and her partner Angelo Pagan, confirmed on social media that they were filing for divorce.
The pair had been married for more than 21 years but explained to fans that their relationship “no longer fit”.
Leah wrote on Instagram: “Well here we are.
“After 28 years together and 21 years of marriage, we have decided to file for divorce.
“This decision came after a lot of thought and care, and as hard as divorce is, we approaching this with a positive outlook because we know it’s what’s best for us.”
The news shocked fans who had followed the pair’s marriage since they tied the knot on July 19, 2003.
Angelo and Leah admitted to feeling "sad", but expressed pride in how they worked together.
They acknowledged the need to move forward and find ways to adapt to their ”new normal".
Leah explained that the reason for their split was that they had "both changed" and no longer felt their married roles were relevant to who they had become.
She added: “After a lot of effort and consideration, we’ve decided to take this step, which reflects who we are today.
“Our bond is still strong - it's just evolved into something different.
“We think a marriage that lasted this long and created so many beautiful memories, especially raising our incredible daughter, is something to celebrate.”
Leah claimed she announced the split on social media because she wanted to remain “transparent” with her followers as they had previously been public about their marriage.
She said: “We are sharing this unknown territory with you all as we take our first steps into this next stage of our lives publicly.
“We would love for everyone to have more access to different kinds of relationship stories and not feel so isolated in navigating the changes that millions of couples make every year.
“We hope our journey can inspire others to see that relationships - whether they change or end - aren’t failures.”
Despite their confirmed split, Leah and Angelo will continue co-raising their daughter, Sofia, who was born on June 16, 2004.
