HENRY Cavill looks as though he could have done with his superhero powers as he took part in a gruelling event for the Royal Marines Commandos.

The Man of Steel actor, 33, got wet and muddy when he joined fundraisers in the Commando Challenge on Woodbury Common in Devon on Saturday.

He looked exhausted during the tough run and obstacle course, landing flat on his back in the thick mud.

Henry, whose brother Lt Col Nik Cavill is a serving Royal Marine, put himself forward for the 10k Courage race to raise money for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
