X FACTOR’s Bratavio have opened up about the shocking moment Brooks Way were axed from the competition.
Discussing the atmosphere backstage after the twins were scrapped following the Sun on Sunday’s revelation about Josh Brooks’ abusive relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Bratavio have revealed how all contestants are sticking by the shamed duo.
Bradley Hunt told The Sun Online during an exclusive interview: “We didn’t get to say goodbye.
“They came in sobbing, disappeared and were never to be seen again.”
After discovering the news just hours before going live to millions of viewers, Bradley added: “We had to try and put it aside but it was still there.”
The shamed twins were axed after the Sun on Sunday revealed Josh had left ex-girlfriend Amelia Clarke “black and blue” on numerous occasions during their four year relationship.
Talking about their exit, Ottavio Columbro said: “It felt like someone had taken a piece of the puzzle away - it was horrible.”
Despite the controversy surrounding the Brooks twins, Ottavio and Bradley revealed all contestants will be sticking by them.
Ottavio said: “We love them - they’re genuinely nice guys and sincere.
“I spoke to Kyle this morning on his mobile [and] the rest of the contestants are sticking by them, they're gutted.”
Bradley added: “I think they’ll be alright, they’ll still get a record deal.”

Although X Factor are yet to confirm that the twins, who missed Saturday’s live show, have been permanently axed, The Sun Online previously revealed how the boys broke down in tears during crisis meetings on Sunday.
The boys were then pictured leaving the X Factor studio for the last time in tears.
Confirming our report, Bradley said: “Poor Louis [Walsh]! He’s only got one act left now.”
Louis' lack of acts comes after Bratavio became the first hopeful to be voted off the show during Sunday's elimination.
The Irish judge is now left with boyband 5 After Midnight.
When asked if they’d make a sensational return as their replacement, Ottavio added: “If we got the offer we’d come back - there’s been no talks yet.
“We were kind of gutted cause we really wanted to do the X Factor tour.”
