Legendary Coronation Street actress Jean Alexander died peacefully in her sleep on Friday.
The tragic news instantly prompted fans to look back that some of her iconic character, Hilda Ogden's best moments.
Hilda featured in Coronation Street for 23 years after bagging the role in 1964, and Jean won a Royal Television Society Award for the role in 1985.
The actress also bagged a BAFTA TV award in 1987 as viewers fell further and further in love with her headscarf-wearing busy-body.
