Strictly Come Dancing’s Darcey Bussell leaves fans in stitches with quip about Laura Whitmore’s ‘down below’

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans were left in fits of laughter after judge Darcey Bussell quipped contestant Laura Whitmore had been getting "busy down below".
She was referring to the Irish beauty's fancy footwork as she took on a lively quickstep with dance partner Giovanni Pernice.
After the MTV presenter took to the stage, Darcey told her: "My God, it was busy down below!"
Yet fans quickly picked up on her unintended innuendo about the pair, who have been getting close on stage in their raunchy routines.
One took to Twitter to draw parallels with fellow BBC show the Great British Bake Off, famed as much for its super cakes as hilarious double meanings, and wrote: "busy down below" This isn't Bake Off. We won't have your innuendo, Darcey."
Another was left in stitches and posted: "Busy down below?!" this is pre-watershed Darcey Bussell. Take your mind out of the gutter...lol!" while one wrote: "We've all just spat our wine out at Darcy's "my goodness, it was busy down below" remark!"
One drew a link with Laura's partnership with hunky Giovanni and wrote: "Busy down below? Well, Giovanni is her partner after all.." while another posted: "Busy down below!! Pardon."
One red-faced telly fan used the embarrassed Emoji to full effect, and uploaded the icons with the words: ""My goodness, it was busy down below."
Another funnyman quipped: "Busy down below Darcey! Where were you looking?"
One simply branded the ex ballet star a "bloody saucepot" and urged Darcey to "steady on."
Laura and Giovanni impressed with their fast-paced routine after being forced to dance for their survival last week.
The blonde beauty looked stunning in a black and pink ballgown with her on-screen partner sporting a matching shirt.
Their hot-footed routine saw the judges gushing with praise.
Meanwhile Laura has been keeping a low profile ahead of this evening's show.
She ensured she was a safe distance from Italian hottie Giovanni after shutting down stories they had been seeing each other.
Arriving at a rehearsal studio in London on Tuesday, the Irish TV presenter made sure she was walking well ahead of Giovanni, despite the fact they’d arrived at the location in the same car.
On Sunday, Laura hit back at rumours she’d started a relationship with the Sicilian professional dancer.
She said: “This whole thing with Giovanni blew up in my face.
“I couldn’t believe it could all go so wrong, so fast.”
Labelling her relationship with the star as “completely professional”, she added: “To be honest he’s far too young for me and even though I’m single I’m still going on a couple of dates when I have the time – but not with Giovanni.”
