HONEY G is this year’s most controversial X Factor act, but Freddy Parker who got the boot on Sunday insists he’s “not annoyed” that she’s still on the show and he’s out.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Freddy who left fans shocked by his early exit and branding the show a "fix" for keeping Honey G in says that the 36-year-old recruitment consultant is a “born entertainer.”
“It’s The X Factor, it’s not a singing or a musician competition, she’s literally a born entertainer and she brings people so much happiness and that’s the best thing,” he told us.
“She’s killing it, each week she’s growing stronger and stronger and I don’t feel annoyed at all that I’ve been kicked out before her, and I think in her own way she’s got the X factor, so I say good on her to be honest.”
The 18-year-old who works a dog kennel in Kent dismissed Little Mix’s claims that Honey G – real name Anna Gilford was an actress.
“No she’s genuinely so real, she’s genuinely an urban artist - or however she puts it, and I live with her so I see she’s really real.”
And while Freddy’s fans were furious that he became the second person to leave the show last night after the judges took him and Saara Aalto to deadlock and let the public vote decide to went, he admits that he’s “not shocked” to have left so soon.
“It’s a really tough year and I think everyone is amazing, and I know you shouldn’t compare yourself to other people but I was constantly looking at these amazing people I was living with and thinking they were so good, how can I compete with these amazing artists?
“So I’m not that shocked because I lost out to these amazing people, so it’s fine.
“It’s not like I missed out to some talentless people.”
