Sir Tom Jones reveals returning to The Voice ‘saved his life’ after his wife’s tragic death from cancer in April
Superstar forced to cancel gigs and is grateful for return to ITV reality show after being sacked by the BBC

SIR Tom Jones has revealed that returning to The Voice is “saving” his life, in his first interview since his wife’s death.
The superstar cancelled concerts and feared he could not carry on after Linda, 75 — his partner of 59 years — died of cancer in April.
Sir Tom, also 75, said: “I didn’t know whether I’d be able to sing again or not. It was devastating.
“I’ve got back on the stage. That first step was a big one. Now I realise music is saving my life.
“It’s even more important to me than before — I’m reading more into lyrics of songs now.
“The busier I am, the better I feel. The Voice is definitely part of that.”
Sir Tom was axed as a coach by the BBC for the show’s 2016 series, after four years.
He said he had no idea why.
