Although the couple have enjoyed three exotic holidays in the past three months, this trip seems to have taken their relationship to the next level.

The move is the surest sign yet of how seriously the pair are taking their romance – just three months after their relationship was made public.

In pictures shared to Instagram captioned "Baecation", Maisie could be seen sporting bling on her ring finger as the loved up couple posed in the sun.

Fans were quick to point out the new addition to Maisie's ring finger with one commenting: "Is that an engagement ring? 💕"

A third wrote: "Is that a ring? On your RING FINGER?!"

Max joined their fans in the comments, saying: "I ❤️ you."

However insiders told The Sun that while the Strictly Come Dancing co-stars are not yet engaged, they have moved their relationship to the next level by introducing their parents to each other.

A source said: “Maisie and Max are absolutely smitten and wanted their families to meet properly.

“They have flown out to Cyprus along with both their families for some proper bonding time together.

“Maisie’s schedule is really hectic because of the Strictly tour so they thought taking a holiday as a big group would be a chance for them to all properly get to know one another – rather than just a snatched few hours in the UK.

“Max is head over heels for Maisie and wanted his family to see just why she was the perfect woman for him.

“It is a sign of how seriously they are both taking this.

“This is not a flash in the pan romance for Maisie and Max and everyone seems to be getting on well which is all they could have hoped for.”

The engagement rumours come after Maisie posted a cryptic video on social media, that had fans convinced they had split.

The former BBC soap opera actress posted a video to Tiktok, with a tear rolling down her face alongside the words: "You didn't deserve me", leading fans to believe her and Max had split.

Maisie and Max, who have an age gap of thirteen years, competed together during the eighteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing and they then grew closer during the live tour.

The couple first went public with their romance in August but it was marred by claims Max had cheated.

Pals told The Sun how Max's ex, , was convinced there was a crossover with the end of her relationship with Max and the start of his with Maisie.

Stacey told a friend: “Max cheated on me with Maisie. I asked him about her but he denied anything had happened.

"He said he was like an uncle to Maisie.

“After everything I’ve done for him, I cannot believe he would be so rude and disrespectful. He’s a lying dog. I feel betrayed.

“I’m very shocked he could be so cruel and I don’t recognise the person he’s become. I think Max has become obsessed with fame.”

Their secret relationship was revealed by The Sun, when they were .

The Tiffany Butcher actress has been linked to other "baes" before the Wanted singer.

The Sun previously revealed that Maisie had spent the night at her EastEnders co-star Zack Morris’s home, in September 2021.

She was also linked to fellow Strictly contestant, musician HRVY.

Max's previous relationships have also made headlines, after recently calling it quits for the second time with Ryan Gigg's ex-wife, Stacey Giggs.

He was also engaged to former Coronation Street actress, Michelle Keegan, who told The Sun she called off their engagement due to his past "drinking problem".

Maisie and Max's whirlwind romance has raised eyebrows though, due to their thirteen year age gap.
