X Factor winner Louisa Johnson ready to release edgier new music after being saddled with Bob Dylan cover she HATED

X FACTOR champ LOUISA JOHNSON got off to a bad start in the music industry when she was lumbered with the worst winner’s single in the show’s history.
Her cover of BOB DYLAN’s Forever Young peaked at No9 and sold just 39,000 copies in its first week — making her the first X Factor victor in 12 years not to reach No1.
Now, as she finally prepares to release her own material, Louisa admits she could not stand the track chosen by boss SIMON COWELL and his label Syco, even though it’s one of my favourites.
Speaking at Bizarre HQ, Louisa said: “I didn’t really gel with it that much — everyone knows it wasn’t the best song. I didn’t really like it, but it was just one of those things.
“It got to a higher spot than I thought it was going to get.”
The Essex teen has since proven her star power after going Top 5 this summer on CLEAN BANDIT track Tears.
She is now ready to reintroduce herself to the public with new single So Good, out on Friday.
I told on Monday how label bosses had censored its explicit lyrics — and there could be more shocks on the way.
Louisa explained: “There’s definitely a few raunchier songs on the album, but there is stuff for everyone, which I think is really important.
“None of it’s fake, it’s all very much real. It’s all how I feel, how I act and what I do, but I didn’t get to show that side on The X Factor because it’s a competition and I wanted to get through each week.”
Louisa’s boyfriend Daniel Elliott — who I revealed she started seeing during her time on The X Factor — has been by her side during the past year.
Now the couple have moved in together, despite the fact Louisa is just 18.
She said: “It hasn’t been hard so far. We just take it as it comes and try not to worry too much because that’s when things go wrong. We see each other when we can.
“I am focusing on my music and doing what I need to do but at the same time I like to have a balance to keep my strength up when things get difficult.”
Louisa will return to X Factor this Sunday to perform So Good.
She should give boss Simon some advice on the next winner’s single while she’s there.
Watch Louisa rate her favourite X Factor performances of the latest series.
First Listen: So Good
LOUISA has put any memory of her Bob Dylan cover to bed with her first proper solo single, So Good.
This bold and brazen pop song lives up to its title.
It’s a perfect mix of PALOMA FAITH and RITA ORA, with cinematic strings in the dark verses leading into a loud and catchy chorus.
Louisa sings about being so drunk she can’t even talk – and there will be plenty more drinks in order once it comes out tomorrow.
It's Skyfall if Trump wins
TWO weeks ago ADELE was hanging out with MICHELLE OBAMA at the White House.
Now the singer has moved on to befriending the building’s next potential occupant – HILLARY CLINTON.
The Democrat Party leader was in the crowd at a gig in Miami on Tuesday where Adele urged fans not to vote for her rival DONALD TRUMP in next month’s US presidential election.
The Brit star said: “I do know what to do – don’t vote for him. That’s all I’m saying.
“I support Hillary Clinton 100 per cent, I do.
“And for anyone else that wants to vote for him, I don’t care, good for you, do whatever you want. I’m just letting you know who I would vote for.”
Hillary was celebrating the eve of her 69th birthday at the gig, and her spokesman claimed Adele was none the wiser that she was in the audience.
Earlier this year the singer was furious to discover that Trump was using her tracks Rolling In The Deep and Skyfall for his campaign without her permission.
She’s got one back on him now.
A Gaga outfit, James
HERE’S Late Late Show host JAMES CORDEN committing a true fashion crime for Carpool Karaoke with LADY GAGA – wearing a version of the police-tape outfit from her Telephone video.
He also tried her infamous raw meat dress from the 2010 VMAs, joking: “The good thing about this is you’ve always got a snack.”
