Taylor Swift and Drake’s rumoured romance provokes hilarious Internet reaction
TAYLOR Swift has been linked to rapper Drake, following her short-lived romance to Tom Hiddleston and the Internet cannot cope.
The news that they were seen flirting with each other at his 30th birthday bash has provoked a flurry of reaction online, including numerous hilarious memes as people struggle to come to terms with the news.
One meme in particular has been doing the rounds – showing Drake’s ex Rihanna smiling sweetly while holiday a sign that reads “I think the f**k not’.
Others took it upon themselves to warn Drake off Taylor, with one person writing: “STOP DRAKE ITS NOT WORTH IT.”
While many are very excited at the prospect of their break up songs – a fan tweeted: “Haha the Drake and Taylor Swift rumor. Imagine the songs they'll make after they breakup.”
Taylor and Drake were allegedly seen flirting at his birthday bash earlier this week, with one insider claiming Taylor received plenty of attention from the Hotline Bling rapper.
A source told : “They were intimately flirting, talking closely and laughing. The only person he spent more time with other than his mom was Taylor.”
While another insider told : “Drake was cozy with Taylor all night long. They were all up on each other – no kissing – but touching each and other and cheeking (sic).”
Meanwhile, claims Drake made sure he introduced Taylor to his mother during the bash.
Taylor and Drake have been friends for several years and were pictured looking very cosy backstage at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards as they hugged and chatted, with Drake reaching out to hold Taylor’s hand during the chat.
Meanwhile, Taylor has made no secret of the fact she is a very big fan of the One Dance rapper after dancing along to one of his tracks in an Apple Music advert earlier this year.
While she previously made a sweet needlepoint for best friend Ed Sheeran which quoted Drake’s lyric ‘Started from the bottom, now we’re here.”
Newly single Drake - who recently split from Rihanna - also get fans curious after he appeared to give his stamp of approval to Taylor earlier in the week after she performed at her Formula one concert in Texas.
Drake liked and left a checkmark comment when Taylor posted a snap from the night - which saw her perform the hit song she wrote for ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris which features the vocals of Drake on/off ex Rihanna.
Taylor and Calvin split in June after a year-long romance and just two weeks later, she was seen getting very cosy to Tom Hiddleston.
However, the short-lived romance came to a halt in September.
Drake would be joining a host of other famous men who have enjoyed romances with country star Taylor.
