The scenes, to be aired during Sunday's episode show show Megan arriving at the Halloween party alone, with Pete laid up ill at home.

Pete, 27, recently stepped up his efforts to win Megan back after she broke up with him after The Sun Online revealed he had been sexting his former fling Jacqui Ryland.

And it looked like her ex was on the way to winning her back as the pair enjoyed a make-or-break spa weekend at Champney’s, followed by breakfast in bed together.

After hearing the news, Megan ends up disappearing in floods of tears, leaving viewers to question if this is yet another bump in  the road to recovery for the pair's relationship.

The drama continues in The Only Way Is Essex on Sunday 30th October at 10pm on ITVBe.
