I’m a Celebrity … Get Me out Of Here! bosses sign up Homes Under the Hammer host Martin Roberts to join Carol Vorderman in the Jungle

IF one man knows a thing or two about finding a nice place to live, it’s Homes Under the Hammer presenter MARTIN ROBERTS.
But there is no ensuite bathroom or underfloor heating where he is going — he’s the latest star to sign up for I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here!
Martin, who has hosted the BBC1 property show for 13 years, will fly to Oz in the next two weeks.
He joins former Countdown host CAROL VORDERMAN, broadcasting legend DANNY BAKER, radio host LISA SNOWDON and Olympic hockey player SAM QUEK — all revealed by The Sun.
Also with them in the celeb jungle are soap actors ADAM THOMAS and LARRY LAMB and Gogglebox’s SCARLETT MOFFATT.
A TV source said: “Martin is a hugely popular daytime presenter, regularly watched by around a million people every day.
“They’re hoping Martin will draw in the housewives’ vote and think his quick wit and fun side will really come through on the show.
“He’s naturally very funny but BBC1 viewers normally only get snippets from him as he goes from auction to auction on Homes Under the Hammer.
"Producers reckon he’ll go down well with viewers.”

An ITV spokesman said that any names suggested for I’m A Celeb at this point are “speculation”, even though the show starts in a fortnight.
Martin, who co-hosts the property show with ex-footballer DION DUBLIN, isn’t a total stranger to the great outdoors.
He hosts his talkRadio show from a spaceship-shaped treehouse set up in his back garden in Bath.
At least we now know that he’s not afraid of heights.
