BOYBAND 5 After Midnight's Kieran Alleyne has revealed his excitement at becoming a first-time father.
The X Factor singer - who performs alongside bandmates Nathan Lewis and Jordan Lee - is expecting a baby with his girlfriend of 11 months.
And speaking to , the 21-year-old revealed all about the bombshell moment he heard the news he was going to be a dad.
He said: "I found out Sophie was pregnant just as we were flying to Judges’ Houses.
"We’re so excited about it! It’s going to be wicked."
The baby news led the band to call a crisis meeting with their mentor, Louis Walsh, but Kieran insists the Irishman was thrilled for him rather than worried or upset.
He said: "He was like, this is amazing, congratulations!

"He was really supportive. Everyone on The X Factor team has been so incredibly supportive – it’s been wicked. It’s all I could ask for."
While Kieran is loved up with girlfriend Sophie, bandmate Jordan dismissed reports he is dating fellow X Factor contestant Gifty Louise - who was booted off the show in a shock result on Sunday night's live show.
The pair had been pictured together on a number of occasions but Jordan said: "Apparently, in this industry, boys and girls can’t be friends!
"Me and Gifty share a good friendship and that’s all it is. We clash a lot in a good way.
"Because we’re always together, we get photographed together a lot and people perceive it as something that it’s not."
