Mystery surrounding X Factor’s Gifty Louise’s claims she was ‘told’ she was leaving 24 hours before live results show

MYSTERY surrounds X Factor star Gifty Louise's exit from the show after she claimed she knew she was leaving on Saturday night.
The singer lost her place on the ITV talent show following a tense sing-off with girlband Four of Diamonds.
But during a chat with on Monday, the 20-year-old made the startling claim she knew about her departure a whole 24 hours before it actually happened.
She said: "Oh I knew I was going home, I got told I was going home on the Saturday night, so I knew."
Gifty didn't elaborate further as to how she knew or who told her, failing to clarify if it was a friend, relative or member of the production staff.

However the singer - who blasted mentor Simon Cowell in an exclusive interview with The Sun Online - did seem to suggest it was unlikely the show was fixed amid continuing claims from viewers. Rumours were sparked after the rolling jukebox randomly selected the Fright Night theme ahead of the Halloween episodes as well as Honey G's continuing success despite backlash from fans of the show.
She said: "I feel like the show is what you make of it.
"When it comes to the whole fix allegations I don’t know. I can’t say anything, I’m not the producers.
"We just perform and we just have to be great and hope people vote for us."
Gifty was more vocal about the fact she was sent home over the girl group, and when asked who she thought should have gone instead, she said: "I don’t want to mention any names, but I just felt it was a bit unfair as it was my first time in the bottom two.
"Four of Diamonds it was the second time but you know what, it is what it is."
