STRICTLY Come Dancing's Laura Whitmore has opened up about 'flirty messages' she received from fellow contestant Ed Balls.
The blonde beauty made it clear there was no inappropriate behaviour going on between herself and the politician as she explained how the pair had exchanged playful banter on the Strictly contestants Whatsapp group chat.
Speaking to Loose Women panellists Nadia Sawalha, Linda Robson and Anne Diamond on Wednesday, Laura said: "No we aren't texting at all."
She continued: "We have a whatsapp group and we are all so close because of it. It wasn't for everyone being so close I wouldn't be in the show because you have low points.
"I've never cried so much in my life. I just can't stop. But I saw that Ed was in a column of lust in one of the magazine. He was number three and I said, 'Ed, why aren't you number one?'
"He then replied, 'Well you ever want me to come and rub that ankle back to health'. I was injured at the time."
“I was like, ‘Ed Balls just sent me that message!’”
Laura then added: “I don’t know how he would have fixed it.”
Laura has been forced to continuously deny rumours that she has started a romance with her professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice.
However she did admit that he was treating her with extra care following her recent injury.
She told the ladies: "He's been great, he was always asks if I want to take a break or sit down. He even brings me chocolate now."
The 31-year-old was forced to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing last week after injuring her ligaments and being warned she would risk permanent damage if she performed.
Laura announced that she wouldn't be performing on the show by posting a statement on Twitter titled "completely devastated".
It read: “It was a decision taken out of my hands.
“If it was my choice, I’d be on the dance floor doing my jive with Gio. This was by far my favourite dance.
“We all train really hard. All of us dancing, have aches and pains and I didn’t realise the severity of my injury until it was too late. I am sorry to let you all down.
“My priority is to follow doctors orders to get myself on my feet again without permanent damage and do the thing I love most, dancing!"
