THE X Factor was embroiled in a fresh 'fix' storm tonight as Simon Cowell was scolded by Dermot O'Leary for using the word following Honey G's performance.
The show's criticised the music mogul and told him the "f-word" is not mentioned on set after Simon said: "It's a total fix".
The spat came shortly after Honey G thrilled the studio audience with her performance of Kris Kross classic Jump.
After returning from the break, Dermot told the judges the result of a poll which asked audience members which panellist they would like to be in a pop band with.
Nicole Scherzinger was the runaway winner, and Simon was furious.
The music mogul shocked viewers by declaring: "Fix, it's a total fix!"
Dermot then scolded him for using the "f-word" on air following a slew of fix scandals which have dogged the show this season of X Factor.
He said: "No one mention word around here... No no no... Not the 'f-word'."
After Honey's performance, Simon was full of praise for the controversial star, who has divided viewers.
He said: "For everyone that's been criticising you, you know what? Music can be fun - and you are fun.
"This is why I love the X Factor. technically this shouldn't work, but it does."
It comes as Honey G's odds of winning The X Factor were dramatically slashed tonight following her breath-taking performance.
The rapper from north west London took to the stage in her trademark tracksuit and sunglasses and bounced around to the 1992 classic by the diminutive rap duo.
Despite facing a backlash on a weekly basis as she gets voted through, bookies revealed tonight her odds of winning had been slashed making her a strong contender to win the show.
Sun Bets now have her as 8/1 and third favourite to win, not bad going seeing as she was 200/1 to win at the auditions stage, with her odds of being eliminated from the competition now at 25/1.
