Geri Horner has revealed she is letting her daughter choose the name of her upcoming new arrival.

The 44-year-old, who revealed last month that she is expecting baby number two, has announced that she hopes that the responsibility will give daughter Bluebell, 10, a sense of involvement with the new baby.

A source revealed to Bang! Showbiz: "Geri wants to include Bluebell in the pregnancy as much as possible to ensure she doesn't feel left out - especially after being an only child for so long.

"She's taken Bluebell along to scans and has given her the role of helping her and Christian choose a name for her new sibling, as well as picking out accessories for the nursery.

"Bluebell is really excited about having a sister or brother to play with."

The new baby will be Geri's first child with Formula One boss Christian Horner - someone she calls her "best friend".

She previously joked: ""My husband is my best friend. He knows me inside out, I don't edit myself with him. It was a big learning curve.

"Being happy is the best beauty secret. I wish I'd known that when I was 20, I could have saved myself a lot of money..."

The expectant mum was due to reunite with her fellow Spice Girls Mel B and Emma Bunton for a reunion tour next year under the new name of GEM to celebrate the Spice Girls 20th anniversary.

However, sources have revealed that the new arrival on the way may put a spanner in the works of those plans.

They told Closer Magazine: "Geri is desperate to perform but she's also conscious of rehearsing while heavily pregnant and wants to ensure she puts herself and the baby first.

"She doesn't want to let the girls down, but as an older mum, she knows she has to take care of herself."
