Taylor Swift causes a stir on Family Guy dating Chris Griffin then writing ANOTHER break up song about him
Producers seemed to poke fun at the Red singer with a cartoon version of the popstar
TAYLOR Swift has moved on from Brit actor Tom Hiddleston - with Family Guy star Chris Griffin.
The unlucky-in-love singer was the centre of attention during the latest episode of the comedy, in a plot which saw a cartoon version of the star accept a sweet invitation to his homecoming dance.
The chubby blond teen was oblivious to the country star until his brother, super-fan Stewie, waxed lyrical about her during season 12 programme, "Chris has got a date, date, date, date, date."
The title made a play on lyrics from the blonde's track, Shake it Off, then script-writers took things further with a seeming dig at her personality when she instantly fell head over heels for Chris.
The illustrated version of Tay Tay arrived at the Griffin family house in a lilac dress and pearl necklace, with a voiceover taking on her accent and cute giggle.
Yet after their love took a turn for the worse and Chris was left devastated when Taylor slammed him in her toxic break-up track.
Taylor has candidly confessed her failed relationships inspire her music with Harry Styles and Calvin Harris previously referred to in her emotional lyrics.
She penned track Better Man about Scottish DJ Calvin, but has yet to pout her heart out about latest ex Tom.
During the episode, fans' favourite Stewie told Chris: "You just gotta do what Taylor Swift does and shake it off," to which a clueless Chris replied: "Who is Taylor Swift?"
This set Stewie on a roll and he gushed: "Oh my god am I about to introduce you to Taylor Swift?
"She's much more than a singer she's the queen, a goddess, a gazelle in a high wasted swimsuit."
The episode was screened in the US during last night's season 12 episode.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to suggest the show's producers had slammed Taylor, who recently split with Brit actor Tom, during their plot.
One wrote: "WOW # FamilyGuy tonight was just one big ass F.U 2 #TaylorSwift huh? Haha," while another quipped: "Wow. It's that what @FamilyGuyonFox thinks of Taylor Swift? I'm not mad at all. It's funny as hell."
