I’m A Celebrity star Martin Roberts underwent a ‘f**king painful’ eight-hour hair transplant before his jungle stint because he hated his ‘bald’ look

MARTIN Roberts will be surprising I’m A Celebrity campmates tomorrow night when he enters the jungle – and they can expect to see a whole new man… almost.
The 53-year-old Homes Under The Hammer presenter has revealed that he’s had a hair transplant before entering the jungle as he was going bald on top and starting to look like a “monk.”
“I didn’t like the idea of going bald,” he told The Mirror.
“I was developing a classic ‘you look like a monk’ sort of thing. I was really embarrassed about it at first and didn’t tell anybody.
“But I thought ‘why, why?’ I think a lot of men have it and don’t tell anyone.”

Martin, who had his transplant and , adds that the fact that some men might question their manliness for having the procedure shouldn’t get in the way of going through with it.
“You think it questions your sexuality or your manliness or whatever. But if it helps you feel better, why not?”
However, he did admit: “It was really f****** painful. It was an eight hour operation.”
