Susan Boyle reveals two-stone weight loss — as she admits she may never sing live again

SUSAN Boyle has revealed she shed two stone after being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.
The Scottish singer, who shot to fame on Britain's Got Talent in 2009, says doctors told her she needed to lose weight for her health.
She told : “I needed to stop eating sweeties and cakes. It’s the bane of my life.”
And diabetes isn't the only health condition Susan, 55, has been struggling with.
The star, who hasn't sung live since the summer of 2015, said her Asperger's syndrome has become so crippling she hasn't set dates for another tour, despite the release of her new album, A Wonderful World, earlier this month.
She said: “I haven’t performed live because I’ve been ill. The short answer is that it has been connected to my Asperger’s syndrome.
“When you sing, you put on a persona. I hide behind that person on stage. You can feel like death, but you have to put it on. The audience wants to see someone smiley."
The singer, who is signed to BGT boss Simon Cowell's record label Syco, added that she's taking "baby steps", waiting to see how her album performs before she decides whether or not she'll tour.
Susan was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome in 2012, after previously being told she'd suffered brain damage at birth.
The single star also discussed her love life, confessing she's got her eye on a doctor who took her to lunch after watching her perform in Florida.

She said: “I don’t want to reveal the doctor’s name. It’s nothing serious at the moment. I will send him a picture of my weight loss – if he’s a good boy! I do enjoy male companionship."
Susan added that she'd love to adopt a child, but she's worried her cat, Tess, might get jealous.
