F1 champ Lewis Hamilton and his girlfriend Winnie Harlow team up to record duet
THE charts have not exactly been graced with hits made by couples over the years.
But LEWIS HAMILTON will be hoping his new collaboration with girlfriend WINNIE HARLOW is more JAY Z and BEYONCE than KATIE and PETER.
I can reveal the F1 champ and wannabe music mogul recorded an original track with the model at TINIE TEMPAH’s studio in London last week.
Thankfully the tune was inspired by Winnie’s beauty, rather than Lewis’s gearbox.
A music source said: “Lewis has been trying for years to make a hit and invited Winnie down to the studios to act as his muse — just like a photographer or artist would when they are creating.
“She’s from Canada and it’s all about Canadian vibes right now with DRAKE and JUSTIN BIEBER dominating the charts.
"Lewis thought she’d be a good influence.
“They were both there and playing music and putting down their beats.

“There are no plans for release yet but everyone in the studio was really impressed.
“It’s a very exciting time for Lewis.”
The couple have taken their relationship up a level since I revealed they’d got close at the GQ Awards in September when they left the party at the Tate Modern, London, in separate cars so nobody would cotton on.
And Lewis will be hoping the model has the winning formula — enjoyed by some of the singing couples above — after struggling to emulate his racing success in the studio.
He’s spent more than four years trying to get his music career off the starting grid.
But he has failed to produce a hit he’s happy with, despite recording with huge names including Tinie, Jay Z and DIZZEE RASCAL.
He’s even sought advice from exes RITA ORA and NICOLE SCHERZINGER during their on-off four-year romance.
This won’t be the love song the X Factor judge hoped for.
Honey jars for Nicole
NICOLE SCHERZINGER certainly isn’t sweet on HONEY G – especially after seeing her fellow X Factor judges favour the rapper over her act RYAN LAWRIE on Sunday’s results show.
The ex-PUSSYCAT DOLL suggested Honey was only chosen for the live shows to bump up ratings.
Despite praising Honey’s hard work, Nicole said that was “maybe” the reason SIMON COWELL and LOUIS WALSH had voted to keep her in another week.
As for talk of SHARON OSBOURNE’s Marmite act making the final, Nicole says: “I don’t think she’s going to win.”

KYLIE JENNER has been working overtime to pick up KIM KARDASHIAN’s social media slack.
The reality star and cosmetics guru was yet again on the prowl for plaudits as she shared this snap of herself lying on her bed in leopard-spot undies – perhaps a big-cat salute to boyfriend TYGA. In another, she sits on a kitchen surface in knickers with her name on the back – as if anyone could forget.
It’s all to promote her new online mystery shop, opening in 17 days, which will no doubt make her even richer.

Jesy and Jake are over
JESY NELSON and JAKE ROCHE’s wedding is off – despite suggestions to the contrary.
Reports emerged over the weekend that the LITTLE MIX star had denied the split after insisting in an interview that they were “very much in love”.
But I’m told the chat with a US website took place more than six weeks ago, well before the couple broke up after an explosive row.
A source said: “Jesy and Jake have split up – there is nothing else to it.
“She split up with Jake after a series of arguments and she’s moving on with her life.
"The engagement is over for the time being, but it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see them patch things up in a few months.”
At least her single bandmate PERRIE EDWARDS has a new wing-woman.
Keef vs. Mick
AS THE ROLLING STONES put together their new album, MICK JAGGER and KEITH RICHARDS are battling over whose songs will make the cut.
Mick has written 40 tracks for it but guitarist Keef said: “Being prolific don’t mean s**t. I’ve got three songs and they’re dynamite. I want to see the fallout from this record before I decide to record 40 of Mick’s songs or whether he wants to sit down with me and record some songs together.”
He added: “I tend to concentrate on two or three really interesting riffs or ideas, rather than being prolific.”
Cruz singer
IF anyone thought the BECKHAMS weren’t serious about launching son CRUZ as a popstar, they can think again.
The 11-year-old kicked off his music career yesterday as DAVID and VICTORIA unveiled his official SoundCloud page.
His first upload is a “duet” with JUSTIN BIEBER and CODY SIMPSON, singing a cover of their song Home To Mama and mixing their vocals with his.
Brother BROOKLYN shared a pic of Cruz on the guitar on Instagram adding: “Check out my little brother singing with @codysimpson and #justinbieber.” His parents quickly shared the post and in hours Cruz’s cover had been heard 36,000 times.
SIMON COWELL recently told me he wanted to sign him up.
The only thing Cruz needs to worry about now is his mum pitching in on backing vocals.
