DAVID Hasselhoff has revealed that he thinks that Justin Bieber was right was right to punch one of his fans in the face.

The singer reportedly left a fan "bleeding" yesterday after lashing out at someone who tried to touch him in Barcelona.

A video acquired by shows the fan running next to Bieber’s open car window and getting hit as he tried to grab the pop star’s face.

It has since emerged that the fan "punched" fan is a minor who plans to take legal action against him.

But the Hoff, who was appearing on Good Morning Britain, stuck up for the pop brat - and claimed that the Sorry singer was justified in smacking the fan.

In response to Piers Morgan's earlier comments about the incident, he said: "I agree with you Piers. Fans are whacked out, man - come on, what's that guy want? An autograph? So he can sell it? He's gonna get his face punched out."

He added: "You've got to treat us with respect and you'll get respect back."

When asked by Susanna Reid whether he'd had an encounter with a fan like that before, he responded: "I've had fans chase, I've had fans jump in my car and pretty much terrify me."

The Hoff did admit that "most" of his fans were "great" and that they "just want a selfie".
