Watch booted X Factor star Honey G’s top 10 most memorable moments on the show

From her knee slide fail to the moment she was stormed onstage, the best of Honey G

X FACTOR star Honey G has had fans divided all series over whether she deserves to be on the show.

But love her or loathe her, you'll never forget the rapper from North West London (or "North Weezy", as she famously calls it).

G, that was tough - from DAN WOOTTON'S Bizarre TV Column

SHE’S been the most original X Factor contestant in years – and the show won’t be the same without HONEY G.

And while she had thousands of haters, Honey had done something no other hopeful has this year: Become a household name.

Minutes after getting the boot, Honey said: “I’d really, really like to get a record deal with SIMON COWELL and his label Syco. I’ve basically got my heart set on that. I know I can sell records and I know I’ve got the potential to go far as a rap music artist.” And Simon has agreed to meet her in a fortnight to discuss how they could work together.

A source said: “Children go mad for her. They love her. There’s definitely a market for her. But it won’t necessarily be a conventional music career.”

Celebrity response was mixed, with Radio 1 DJ CLARA AMFO writing: “Was waiting for Honey G to rip off her cap, say everything was a satirical protest and shout ‘Black lives matter’ sadly that didn’t happen.” And PIERS MORGAN tweeted: “Beyond diabolical. #HoneyG.”

While, earlier in the evening, EastEnders actress JACQUELINE JOSSA simply posted: “Please no more honey G!!” Presenter MICHAEL UNDERWOOD, too, joked on Twitter: “#EdBalls out of #Strictly and #HoneyG out of #XFactor. It seems 2016’s twisted sense of humour has come to an end. Probably for the best.”

But LOUIS WALSH, who voted her off to save his own act 5 After Midnight, said: “It won’t be the same without Honey.”

And Xtra Factor hosts RYLAN and MATT EDMONDSON offered her a job on the spin-off series.

Meanwhile X Factor bosses were last night forced to up the security at the telly studios after five men invaded Honey’s first performance on Saturday’s show.

HONEY will be interviewed on ITV’s Lorraine from 8.30am today.

Following Honey G's elimination on tonight's episode, we've rounded up her top 10 most memorable moments from X Factor.

Her first audition

Simon Cowell is rarely lost for words, but he was the first time Honey G was in the house.

The judges' jaws dropped as 35-year-old Honey, real name Anna Gilford, performed Missy Elliott's hit song Work It.

The moment she made it to the live shows

Honey G was in tears when Sharon chose to put her through.

The judge acknowledged her decision "a big risk", but added: "I've taken risks all my life."

When Louis Walsh asked her if she was David Cameron in a wig

The Irish judge told Honey all his friends in Dublin thought she looked like Britain's former PM.

Sharon cried: "How dare you?!" but Honey G laughed it off.

When Simon Cowell called her his 'guilty pleasure'

Music mogul Simon wasn't initially a fan of Honey — but he admitted she "shut it down" after her performance of Mo Money Mo Problems.

That awkward celebratory knee slide...

Honey G nearly fell flat on her face when she attempted a knee slide to celebrate keeping her place on the show, apparently forgetting she was wearing leather trousers.

She later revealed she'd practised the knee slide — but with tracksuit bottoms on.

When she challenged Ed Balls to a dance-off

Honey hit back after Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ed suggested his dancing was better than his rapping.

She said: "I'd like to challenge Ed Balls to a dance-off. Challenge me any day. He knows where I am."

Perhaps they'll have time to make that happen now they've both been booted off their respective shows.

The scary moment she was stormed onstage

The rapper was left shaken after five men invaded the stage while she was on it.

X Factor insiders denied accusations the disturbance was a set-up.

The time her performance included an epic mannequin challenge

Viewers were wowed as Honey G performed while the judges and the entire audience kept eerily still around her.

The moment she got eliminated

Only Honey G's mentor Sharon voted to keep her on the show after her sing-off with 5 After Midnight.

"This is now getting serious, and we need the four best acts next week," said Louis.

"Honey, you've had a great run, I love you, but it's time to send you home."

When she begged Simon Cowell for a record deal

Minutes after being axed from the show, Honey G declared on Xtra Factor: “I’d really, really like to get a record deal with Simon Cowell."

"I know some people who know him, I can have a word," said host Matt Edmondson, prompting Honey to point out helpfully: "He's standing over there."
