HONEY G has admitted she's got an 'amazing' single waiting for her to record.

The rapper - who was eliminated from the X Factor after a sing off with boyband 5 After Midnight - revealed on spin-off show The Xtra Factor that the team behind the show had written an 'amazing' single that she can't wait to perform on the tour.

"I literally cannot wait to perform," she told hosts Rylan Clark-Neal and Matt Edmondson.

"I know that they've written an amazing single, the X Factor team have written a really amazing single so I hope I'll be performing that."

It wasn't just the single Honey was thrilled with for despite being eliminated from the competition, she couldn't help but praise it and in particular, her mentor Sharon Osbourne.

Gushing about Sharon, Honey added: "She knows where I want to take my music career as a rap artist. She sees my vision, she gets me., she understands and I don't think any other judge could have done a better job than she did."

The frightfully middle class rapper found herself eliminated after facing off against 5 After Midnight in the sing off and all the judges bar Sharon Osbourne voted to send her home, but it didn't take her long to start working on getting that all-important record deal.

"I'd really, really like to get a record deal with Simon Cowell," sh said pointedly to the judge on The Xtra Factor. "I have my heart set on that. I know I can sell records, and I've got the potential to go far as a rap artist."

But when asked whether Honey could get her wish, Simon grinned and said: "We don't make any decisions until after the show."

The middle class rapper was axed from the ITV singing competition after finding herself in the bottom two of the public vote and facing off against boyband 5 After Midnight in the sing off.

"She's unique and why not?" Honey's mentor Sharon Osbourne said as she was asked why the rap star should have been saved in place of the boyband.

The rapper's version of California Love failed to impress the judges who preferred 5AM's Labrinth's Beneath Your Beautiful.

"Honey, you've had a great run, and I love you but it's time to send you home," said Louis as he picked Honey to go home.

Honey's mentor Sharon then picked her act and begged Nicole and Simon to keep her in.

Nicole said: "Honey G, you put the fun in phenomenal, I'm literally amazed you lasted this long but you did. I'm sorry the act I'm sending home is Honey G."

Simon then paid tribute to Honey G's guts before choosing Honey G and sealing her fate.

Speaking after her elimination, Honey told Dermot: "I just wanted to say how much I have loved working on X Factor, including he judges. This has been completely life changing experience for me and to everyone who said I couldn't make it - hear I am."

It comes after the show was plunged into chaos when five men invaded the stage and left Honey shaking shortly after her performance.

The Sun Online revealed that the pranksters were jailed in May after terrifying people with an ill-thought out fake art heist at the National Portrait Gallery.

Earlier in the evening, the gang’s leader, Daniel Jarvis posted a video on his Facebook page promising he would make his X Factor debut during the show.

Simon Cowell ran to the rapper's aid as the men ran down from the audience, with one lunging at her - appearing to try and remove her hat and sunglasses.

X Factor sources said the men – aged between 20 and 30 – had got into the audience by pretending to have disabilities.

They then all stormed the stage when Honey G was rapping.

Police and X Factor bosses are believed to have asked the contestant if she felt she had been assaulted during the stage invasion as they decide what action to take.

A show source said: “Honey is shaken but OK. The police arrived quickly and she was asked if she felt any sort of assault had taken place.

“She said she didn’t feel she had been assaulted and vowed to go ahead with her second performance.”

Trollstation posted a video taken from the audience as they took credit for the invasion that saw five men rush onto the stage during Honey G’s performance and grab her.

Members of the public were so upset by the prank, they stampeded to get away from the gang who wore tights over their faces.

Five members of the gang were jailed for a total of 72 weeks after pleading guilty to two counts of using threatening behaviour and causing fear of unlawful violence.

The gang posted a video of their prank, with it showing the full distress of Honey G as the five men surrounded her on stage.

Simon Cowell ran to her aid as the men ran down from the audience, with one lunging at the rapper – appearing to try and remove her hat and sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Honey G's mentor Sharon Osbourne fell about laughing as the distressing incident continued.

Despite Honey shaking from the incident, some viewers claimed it was planned, something the show strenuously denied.

Honey was left shaking after the incident but was comforted by Dermot O'Leary.

Simon went on to apologise to Honey, telling her: "I'm so sorry about that, are you ok?"

He added: "I thought that was part of the act, I was quite worried.

Dermot continued to comfort Honey as he confirmed there had been a "stage invasion".

Sharon Osbourne later told the audience: "People just want to get close to her."

Viewers at home were stunned by the incident, with some tweeting their horror and confusion at what had happened to her.

Prior to the incident, Honey had the crowd on their feet and dancing to her version of MC Hammer's Can't Touch This.

Prior to her performance, Honey welcomed the cameras into her mum's house.

Gushing about her daughter, saying: "She's always wanted to be a rapper."
