Bella Hadid reveals painful bruised shoulder as she prepares for Victoria’s Secret 2016 Fashion Show

Supermodel joined sister Gigi on the catwalk at the annual fashion event in Paris

BELLA Hadid revealed a painful-looking bruise on her shoulder ahead of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday night.

The American model was taking part in the annual event alongside her sister Gigi, and while getting ready backstage, the 20-year-old's pink satin dressing gown slipped off her shoulders to reveal the black and blue markings.

But ever the professional, Bella didn't appear to be letting the bruising get in her way, as she blew a kiss for one of the cameras documenting the models preparations, before glancing over her shoulder serenely.

While her shoulder was a little unsightly, Bella's hair and makeup was flawless, with her dark locks framing her face while she wore subtle smokey eye makeup.

The star wasn't the only member of the show to be covered in bruises, as Lady Gaga - who is performing at the event - tweeted about her own injuries.

Taking to Twitter she wrote: "Couple bruises from dance rehearsal but love rocking this silver VS! Thank you to the Angels for treating me like family! #VSFashionShow"

However the 30-year-old concealed the marks as she hit the pink carpet in a beautiful black and nude lace gown.

While the dress looked demure from the front, when Gaga turned to the side, she revealed its low cut sides which gave onlookers a glimpse of her rib tattoos and a hint of side boob.

Behind the scenes, Bella was joined by the other Angels - including Kendall Jenner and Alessandra Ambrosio - for hair and makeup and pre-show filming.

The group flew from New York to Paris on Sunday so they could spend three days in the French capital ahead of the huge event.

Their dress fittings took place in the Big Apple, but the real work began as soon as they touched down in France.

The girls have been promoting the lingerie brands at photo calls, and running around town to various events ahead of the big day.

Meanwhile Jasmine Tookes is the lucky model who has been chosen to walk the runway wearing the VS Fantasy Bra this year, and she was pictured posing with the luxurious garment before she finally gets to put it on.
