Rylan Clark’s Radio 2 replacement revealed as he’s forced to pull out after mum Linda’s horror fall
RYLAN Clark will be replaced on BBC Radio 2 by Scott Mills tomorrow after his mum was rushed to hospital on holiday.
The presenter revealed Linda, 71, had suffered a nasty fall and was in need of surgery.
Rylan, 34, told fans that the Celebrity Gogglebox star needed surgery and said he was "praying" for her speedy recovery.
He said: "So unfortunately I took my mum away on her first holiday in a good few years and sadly she's had quite a bad fall, resulting in her having to have surgery out here.
"She's not in the best health with her other conditions and this has made it more complicated.
"My priority at the moment is my mum."

He added that Scott, 50, has been drafted in to take over his radio show on Saturday at 3pm.
"Cheers scott for covering me at radio 2 and Thanks to the people out here that have sent their well wishes," Rylan continued.
"Praying for a successful surgery and a quick recovery. Will update you on mummy. Linda as and when I can x"
Linda is well known to Rylan's fans.

The proud mum often calls into his radio show and is his Celebrity Gogglebox sofa partner.
Last year the popular presenter spoke to Fearne Cotton on her Happy Place podcast about his beloved Gogglebox star mum's struggle with Crohn's disease.
The pair previously took time off from Gogglebox due to Linda’s struggle with the condition for which there is no cure.
Speaking about his bond with his mum, he said: "I cannot imagine my life without her. I mean she has gone through quite a lot with her health, she has got Crohn's disease.
"She is on a drip feed now like pretty much 24/7 whenever she can get on it.
"I will do anything for my mum. Like, she will not listen.
"Gogglebox is the easiest thing I have ever done because I literally sit on my kitchen sofa and they go, 'right here we go' and I don't have to say a word.
"It is the easiest money I've ever made in my life because I press one button and she's off. And she literally has no idea."
