X Factor star Matt Terry reveals he is scared about failure after the show is over

MATT Terry has revealed that he fears failure after the X Factor is over.
The 23-year-old singer is keen to get straight into the studio and work hard to make sure that he will be successful.
Speaking to the , he said: "It's nerve-racking to know you could do well on the show and it still might not happen for you.
"I feel like it depends on who you are."
Matt added: "If you want it that much and you're prepared to work hard then you can make it happen."
He also revealed that he wants to get straight into the studio after the singing competition finishes and admitted that he'd love to be writing his own songs: "I'd love to get my own stuff out there."
On tonight's show Matt will be singing Sam Smith’s Bond theme Writing’s On The Wall, which he sang on the Movies weekend, winning the praise of Smith for his performance.
Matt revealed that Sam had been in contact with him after the show and said: “Sam messaged me afterwards saying it was unreal and how proud he was that I smashed it. To have his support is amazing.”
Unfortunately for Matt though, it was not enough to convince Sam to duet with him on last night's show and instead he paired up with mentor Nicole Scherzinger to sing Prince’s Purple Rain.

Matt also looked happy but stunned as he said: "I honestly did not expect to hear my name so thank you."
As well as their choices, Matt and Saara will sing their potential winner's song, reportedly an original track written by Ed Sheeran.
Five After Midnight were eliminated last night after coming bottom of the public vote.
The three strong band – made up of Kieran Alleyne, Jordan Lee and Nathan Lewis – thanked the show and said that it had been the "best experience ever".
Appearing on The Xtra Factor afterwards, they said: ""I'm glad we came third, how many people can say they were in the finals?"
