Coronation Street’s Bethany Platt disappears after being humiliated as crush on Gary Windass exposed
The schoolgirl was left utterly humiliated as friend Faye found her trying to seduce Gary and now she's disappeared

BETHANY Platt has gone missing in Coronation Street.
The troubled school girl - who has an inappropriate crush on her mum Sarah Platt's boyfriend Gary Windass - has been left upset after her friend Faye Windass discovered her secret.
Forced to take the blame for Faye's drunken behaviour so she would keep her secret, Bethany was left worried she had ruined her mum's relationship with Gary and began crying in the street.
Earlier in the episode a sobbing Bethany was found upset on the bench near the salon by mechanic Luke who did his best to cheer her up before running into number one to see his lady friend Tracy Barlow.
Cutting Bethany off as she was just ready to open up about her problems, Luke spotted Tracy's light come on and he jumped off, leaving her and telling her to go home.
But with busybody Norris Cole spotting the pair talking, will he jump to the wrong conclusions and tell Sarah what he saw?
While viewers know it was an innocent conversation, a panicking Sarah has been known to jump to conclusions when it comes to her daughter.
And with Bethany jumping on a bus rather than going home to Sarah and Gary, panic soon set in with Sarah becoming seriously worried for her daughter.
"Oh Gary, she hasn't got a coat with her and it's freezing out there," she said sending Gary out looking for Bethany.
