Chloe Madeley reveals she’s SPLIT from James Haskell after five years of marriage

Chloe has taken a series of cryptic swipes at James.

JAMES Haskell and Chloe Madeley have confirmed the end of their five year marriage.

The couple secretly split in September - just 13 months after the birth of their daughter, Bodhi.

In a joint statement, Chloe said: “James and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023.

“We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time - certainly not while the television show was airing - but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.

“Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time.

“Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”

James later shared the statement online and added: “It's with a lot of sadness I write this post, but unfortunately, in the world we live in, it has to be done.

“My priority is my daughter’s and Chloe’s happiness and security. For that reason, I won't be commenting any further.”

The Sun can reveal the couple, who met over Instagram, both removed their wedding rings six weeks ago - contrary to reports they'd rowed after James, 38, was seen chatting to a woman outside London's Chiltern Firehouse.

Pictures emerged of the ex-Wasps star talking to PR boss Maxine Bridge at 1.30am.

However, friends of the couple insist this was not the cause of their split.

Last night a source added: "Chloe and James have been fighting for a long time to make a go of their marriage.

“Having a young baby, and James being away so often would take a toll on anyone. But some of James's behaviour was upsetting, and he knows that.

“The pair made the incredibly hard decision to call time so that they could focus on their daughter and being the best possible parents. "Things are completely civil between them, and they shall remain friends. Bodhi is their number one priority."

News of their split follows weeks of frenzied speculation that the couple were in trouble.

They were also accused of using the rumours as a "PR stunt" for personal trainer Chloe.

This, though, was not the case - the couple had planned on maintaining a united front in order not to detract from the show.

A source added: "It was very frustrating for Chloe as she desperately just wanted to focus to be on the show which has been doing really well with viewers.

"The whole premise of the series was that she and James kept things real, and didn't hide their arguments and day to day reality.

“They had actually planned on announcing their separation towards the end of the year so as not to garner unwanted PR for A Family Affair."

In last week's show Chloe was seen raging after James uploaded photos of semi-naked girls during a DJ set.

Following the World Cup final on Saturday, trainer Chloe, 36, went out in London with pals, for Halloween. James watched the final with pals in a boozy night out.

While James has music residences abroad for much of the week, Chloe has been looking after their daughter and running a successful PT business and podcast, The EC Method
