EastEnders spoilers: Lee Carter leaves dad Mick devastated as he confesses his troubles
The troubled former soldier was seen contemplating suicide in a harrowing episode of the BBC One soap

EASTENDERS' Lee Carter is set to make a shock confession to his dad.
The telesales worker - who is played by actor Danny-Boy Hatchard - was seen contemplating suicide in Friday's harrowing episode of the BBC soap and now he looks set to open up about his troubles to his dad.
Spoiler pictures from New Year's Day's episode of the show show an emotional Lee talking to his dad Mick.
But Mick looks angry in one of the pictures and devastated in another, so will Lee open up and tell him how close he came to ending things?
Viewers watched as Lee wept on the edge of the car park, the parking attendant who he scared in Thursday night's episode, found him and got him to open up about his life and family.
Convincing him that suicide wasn't the answer, the harrowing scenes saw Lee finally reach back and grab her hand before breaking down in her arms.
Turning to leave, Karen gave Lee a card for the Samaritans and told him the next time he felt down to call them and talk and it seemed to work.
Lee arrived home to a worried Whitney who told him she wasn't pregnant after all, and as they hugged, he clutched the card tightly.
Earlier in the episode, Lee was convinced to open up to Karen about his life and concerns.
@Lately I feel like I'm an alien, but an alien who's landed on earth and is just pretending to be a man," he said.
"Except I don't really know what that's supposed to be."
As Lee stood, desperate, on the rooftop, his phone rang and it was Whitney, but with Lee refusing to answer it, Karen got him talking about his wife.
"She looks at me and sees someone better, at least she used to. Now she seems to have cottoned on to the real me."
He then opened up about his dad and family, admitting he finds it difficult to have such a perfect couple for parents.
"Close, he's close to everyone that's what my dad does. He's good at it, making friends, people like it. "He's one of those people who's just got it but that can make you sick sometimes.
"People say it's hard coming from a broken home, and I believe it, don't get me wrong, but when your mum and dad are the best couple in the world, somehow that's hard and all."
He added: "I try so hard to bring in the money, provide day in day out in a job I hate, taking advantage of people for what? Minimum wage. Now I can't even admit to my own wife how little I'm worth.
