WHO WILL TURN?

The Voice coaches look ready to fight as they listen to incredible singer Mo performing Paolo Nutini’s Iron Sky

The soulful 21-year-old seriously impresses on the launch show but who is going to turn for him?

THE Voice coaches look ready to fight as they listen to one of the first contestants, 21-year-old Mo.

The singer’s powerful rendition of Paolo Nutini’s Iron Sky has Sir Tom Jones, Gavin Rossdale, Will.I.Am and Jennifer Hudson itching to press their buzzers.

In a first look at Mo’s impressive performance ahead of the first episode, all four try to play it cool when he starts to sing.

But as he continues, each judge starts to edge towards their buzzer – with Sir Tom placing his hands on either side of his.

Sir Tom has previously revealed the judges are prepared to fight for their acts, saying of his co-star Gavin: “[He] is very meticulous in the way he is, he is very picky in who he chooses, sometimes it is just a fight between me and him for people.”

Jennifer – who previously admitted she was prepared to be ruthless throughout the series – added: “I think Tom and Gavin are more competitive because they are turning around for a lot of the same sounds.”

Tom explained: “It is always competitive, that is always the same, especially when more than one chairs turns.

“It is just as competitive now as it was on day one of the first series. That has not changed. If you turn and you really want that person you have to do the best you possibly can to get them.”
