Katie Price’s ex Alex Reid hints at Hollyoaks return 18 years after leaving the soap
Alex admitted he may have to put his upcoming wedding on hold due to filming commitments
KATIE Price’s ex-hubby Alex Reid has hinted he may return to Hollyoaks eighteen years after leaving the soap.
The crossdressing cage fighter fears his upcoming wedding to fiancée Nikki Manashe could be put on hold due to filming commitments if he’s successful with the big audition.
He said: “Nikki and I are planning a summer wedding.
“But the only problem is I am waiting confirmation on a show at the minute so I get that then we may have to push it back.
“It is quite a big show and has been on the telly for many, many years.
“It’s an acting role – nothing to do with reality TV and I am really excited about it.”
Former Hollyoaks star Alex first appeared in the series as Jason Cunliffe, a womanising footballer who got on the wrong side of wife Geri.
But now Alex is keen to get back into acting as he aims to kiss goodbye his life as a reality star.
He said: “I am anti celebrity shows now.
“I haven’t even watched one episode of Big Brother – is Katie Price in there?
“I want to be out of that world.

“It is the nastiness, the backstabbing. It destroys businesses and families, relationships. I do lots of yoga and Thai Chi and meditation now instead.”
Alex, who was married to former glamour model Katie, admitted that his new partner demanded for him to have Botox.
He said: “I was forced to have Botox by my fiancée – much to my disdain. I didn’t like it at all but she loves it.
“I thought ‘I’d give this a go’ but I’m not about to get lip fillers and I am certainly never going to get boobs.
“I would definitely get more surgery though. You’ve always got one arm bigger than the other arm don’t you?”
But while Nikki is keen for Alex to keep his wrinkles at bay – the cage fighter insists that he prefers his fiancée looking natural.
He said: “I think she is perfect the way she is. I obviously love her when she’s all dolled up with her make up on but I love her equally when she has nothing on.
“I love a dolly bird that has all the trimmings – but she does looking stunningly beautiful without her face on too.
“Nikki loves Botox and she had her boobs done many years ago too.
“I would rather she had them taken out now to you the truth.”
