Rupert Grint swaps hexes for hustle as he joins the world of organised crime in new TV series Snatch
The Harry Potter star is all grown-up in the show based on Guy Ritchie’s film

HE’S best known for running round Hogwarts getting into trouble with his good friend Harry Potter and fighting evil Lord Voldemort.
But Rupert Grinch has shown that his days of witchcraft and wizardry are long-behind him as the first trailer for the new Snatch TV series was released.
The redhead is now all grown-up and taking on the criminal masterminds of London’s underworld in the new series based on Guy Ritchie’s 2000 film.
The TV series, which will air on streaming service Crackle, is based on a real-life London heist.
It follows a group of young, up and coming hustlers who just happen upon a truckload of stolen gold bullion.
They are suddenly thrown in the high-stakes world of organised crime, complete with rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains to attend to.
Grint plays dynamic and very posh con man Charlie Cavendish, while Skins and Our Girl star Luke Pasqualino stars as Albert Hall, with Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick as night club owner Sonny Castillo.
Dougray Scott stars as criminal Vic Hill who controls all his wheelings and dealing from behind bars.
LATEST IN TV & SHOWBIZ
Sadly for Brits, Crackle is currently unavailable in the UK. Last year, a Crackle spokesperson told the Independent that the show would likely air in Britain 'at some point, but it was too soon to say where yet.
They added: “Similar to the programs produced by Sony Pictures Television, Snatch will be sold around the world by our international distribution team.”
Since finding fame in the Harry Potter franchise as the lovable but hapless Ron Weasley, Rupert has gone on to star in film and on stage.
He appeared alongside Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt in comedy Wild Target and made his stage debut at the Harold Pinter Theatre in 2013 in the play Mojo.
