CORONATION Street fans were left scratching their heads when a familiar face turned up on the show.
Actress Alice Barlow arrived as a new waitress in The Bistro with a bang, but it was her previous fame that viewers became obsessed with.
Alice, 25, first shot to fame in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks in 2009 as troubled Rae Wilson.
She appeared on screen as an imaginary person as part of Newt's schizophrenia's storyline, but later became real.
Rae was part of a love triangle between Ste Hay and his gangster lover Brendan Brady.
Her character was later killed off in 2011 by Hollyoaks' resident serial killer, Silas Blissett, after appearing in Hollyoaks: Later.
After her soap stint Alice went on to appear on The Voice in 2013, where she got through to the battle rounds but was knocked out by eventual winner Andrea Begley.
Viewers will also recognise her from roles in Crime Stories, Drifters, Staff Room, Benidorm and Banana.
But now her character seems to be getting ready for a love triangle in Coronation Street between Luke Britton and murderous Tracy Barlow.
As a new waitress she was sacked on her first shift after getting into a fight with Tracy as she caught her trying to reignite a one night stand with Luke.
