Love Island star Rykard Jenkins joins the cast of Ibiza Weekender and fans can look forward to a cameo from Rachel Fenton

LOVE Island star Rykard Jenkins is heading back to TV screens as a holiday rep on Ibiza Weekender.
The 25-year-old hunk will be helping holiday makers have fun, down drinks, and potentially find love as the reality show returns to ITV2 next month.
Despite being responsible for the entertainment of punters that stay at the Ibiza hotel, Rykard says starring on Weekender has been a walk in the park compared to Love Island.
“It’s so much more relaxed, it’s less tense and it’s more fun in Ibiza,” the dark haired star said ahead of the new series.

“Everyone is a team in Ibiza Weekender so you really help and get along with each other and in Love Island it is a competition and you have to play a game to a certain extent but Ibiza Weekender is all about cutting loose and having fun,” he said.
Despite never being on the show before – unlike returning reps Imogen Townley and Jordan Davies who have been on the show since series 1 in 2013 – Rykard thinks he found his role in the cast easily.
“I was helping the other reps get through their events and dramas throughout the season so I had the ‘Big Bro’ approach,” he reveals.
Surprisingly, Rykard confessed that his least favourite park of being on the show was having to go out partying night after night.
“My least favourite part of being a rep was staying out and partying with the guests until they were ready to go home,” he complains.
“Sometimes I couldn’t keep up, I was like ‘I’m done now, I think I’m ready for bed’ but you’ve got to stay out with the guests until they are ready to go home,” he explained.
After finding romance with Rachel Fenton on Love Island last year, Ryk says his other half is thrilled he has joined the ITV 2 show cast.
“She was absolutely buzzing that I got to go to Ibiza,” he explained.
“It was quite tough being away from her for that long but she came over to see me and it was one of the best feelings. Bring your girlfriend to work day! We had a lot of fun,” he revealed.
