Hollyoaks spoilers: Harry Thompson heartbroken as Ste Hay rejects marriage and grows closer to ex John Paul McQueen
The sixth former has been desperate to propose to his boyfriend but now he's set to be devastated when Ste admits he doesn't want to get married again

HARRY Thompson is set for heartbreak in Hollyoaks when boyfriend Ste Hay grows closer to his ex-husband John Paul McQueen.
The sixth former - who is played by actor Parry Glasspool - has been desperate to propose to his boyfriend but now he's set to be devastated when Ste admits he doesn't want to get married again, and starts growing closer to his ex John Paul.
The former couple are going to become closer as John Paul suffers a tough few weeks with his cousin Celine's funeral and his mum Myra going into labour, as well as the shock return of his rapist Finn.
Harry's jealousy will continue to grow as he convinces himself that Ste is going to leave him for John Paul, but is he right?
It comes after The Sun exclusively revealed actor James Sutton will leave the show in an explosive exit storyline.
His character John Paul will drive himself off a cliff - although it's unclear if the much-loved character will definitely die in his dramatic scenes.
A show insider revealed: "James is a soap legend and will be sorely missed by Hollyoaks cast, crew and viewers.
“Producers have given him a huge, dramatic exit – so it’s going to be the perfect way to see off almost a decade of John Paul on our screens.
“In gut-wrenching scenes filmed in north Wales before Christmas, John Paul will be shown driving off the edge of a cliff in his car.
“Show chiefs aren’t necessarily saying his exit is for good and they are leaving the door open.
“But for now this is the last people will see of John Paul for the foreseeable future.”
James joined the soap in 2006, before his character came out as being gay and started having an affair with his best friend, Craig Dean.
The storyline was nominated for, and won, many awards and it also received acclaim from LGBT rights charity Stonewall.
