Is this The Walking Dead’s most gruesome scene EVER? Twitter goes into overdrive for latest zombie killing-spree

The survivors got inventive and took out a hoard of walkers with an ingenious cheese-wire car wipe-out

WHILE the humans continued to work out how to defeat the other humans on the latest Walking Dead episode – it was business as usual for the zombies.

Producers of the show are always thinking up new ways on how to maim the undead, and Sunday night’s show saw a particularly gruesome scene play out that had Twitter fans reacting in a frenzy – with some labelling it as the most violent yet.

When faced with the struggle of getting rid of yet another herd of walkers, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) made the ingenious decision to tie two cables between their cars, put their foot down firmly on the gas, and meet the zombies in the middle.

What followed can only be described as a mass zombie beheading by cars – as a whole fleet of walkers got ripped apart in the ultra-violent scene which some fans worryingly seemed to be quite excited to see.

“YOOOO THAT WIRE CAR SCENE WAS EVERYTHING!!!! GOD I LOVE THIS SHOW!!” one fan tweeted about the killer scene.

While another bloodthirsty fan wrote: “Thank you Director of tonight's episode for that car scene. That made my weekend.”

A Walking Dead Twitter Page @FTWDFans even suggested that it could have been the “best walker kill scene of all time.”
