'I know who you are'
THE First Dates Valentine's Special took a surprising turn for contestants Anna and Vince as they realised they were not on a date with a stranger.
In fact, the couple quickly realised that they had been on dates with each other 20 years ago and had even enjoyed a kiss during their brief courtship.

The pair had been chosen to take part in the Channel 4 show and immediately hit it off as they were taken to their seats and began to enjoy their meal.
As the conversation turned to their upbringing, Anna stated: "You know I said you look familiar, you really do... I'm sure you know my cousin."
Then Vince ex claimed: "We've been on a date before. Oh my god, I know who you are."
Anna replied: "You've actually been to my house when I was younger."
Vince then reminded his date: "I remember I really liked you. I think there was probably another boy in the background."

It turns out the duo dated when Vince was 20 and Anna was 17 and Vince told the camera: "I do fancy her. and I fancied her years ago. I still do now."
When asked if they would see each other again, Anna stated: "Yeah I'd like to. We need to find out what happened."
Anna admitted she wanted to work out what happened before to stop the romance from going forward as she told producers: "I think we need to find out what happened!"

Vince added: "We do, we’ve got a lot to figure out, yeah."
When Vince went in for a kiss, Anna exclaimed: "I’ve never kissed on a first date.. ever!"
But Vince was quick to remind her it technically wasn't their first date and leaned in for a smooch.
Restaurant owner Fred Siriex then added to the camera: "Second chances at love are rare and special. Maybe you weren’t ready when you were younger but be patient, your time will come. But when love comes around, you have to grab it with both hands and don’t let go."
