DAVID Cassidy has worried fans across the world following a slurred performance in Los Angeles.
The 66-year-old took to the stage at the Canyon Club in Agoura at the weekend but those in the audience reported at times the star appeared to forget the lyrics of songs and slur his words.
At one point, David who originally rose to fame in the 1970s as a star on The Partridge Family, is seen falling off the side of the stage in video captured by TMZ at around the one minute mark.
Fans also hit social media with their videos of the concert.
One worried onlooker captioned footage of the former heart-throb hugging his guitar and giving a rambling speech, with the words: "Somebody, please help #davidcassidy. #drunk".
Another pleaded: "David Cassidy pull it together man!"
One fan, John Borack, wrote on Facebook: "The term 'train wreck' doesn't begin to do this justice. Later in the show he fell down on stage.
"I hope he gets help... Ugh. So sad."
Fernando Perdomo, who's band opened the show for David on the night, stated: "David Cassidy last night was the worst show I have ever seen. This man needs serious help."
He went on to add: "David Cassidy was horrible tonight. No mercy to this drunk disaster show."
The star went through a turbulent time in 2015 after he divorced his wife and had to file for bankruptcy, selling his family home.
He's also dealt with three drink-driving arrests and rehab.
He famously took down Eamonn Holmes on live TV as the presenter grilled him on his bankruptcy.
The shocked host later let loose on David via Twitter and wrote: “If David Cassidy isn’t in CBB next year they r missing out on his delusion & rudeness! Perfect combo.”
A rep for David has been contacted by The Sun Online.
